Terms of Service
Last updated July 14, 2026
These terms govern your use of Foundryard. They're written to be read. Using Foundryard means you agree to them.
The service
Foundryard is a discovery and networking platform for founders: public founder profiles, a discovery feed, a leaderboard, connections, and optional Stripe-verified revenue display. Free accounts include a profile, discovery, connections, and one project; paid plans add more.
Your account
- You must sign in with a Google or GitHub account you control.
- One account per person. You're responsible for what happens under your username.
- Usernames are first-come, first-served. Impersonating another person or company isn't allowed, and we may reclaim usernames held for impersonation or squatting.
Your content
You own everything you post. By publishing it on Foundryard you give us the license needed to host and display it — that's it. Delete your content or account and that license ends.
The integrity rule
Foundryard's whole point is credible numbers, so this one matters: the verified badge must stay honest. Attempting to fake verified metrics — connecting a Stripe account that isn't your business's, manufacturing test-mode revenue, or misrepresenting self-reported numbers as verified — gets your account removed. Self-reported metrics are welcome; they're just always labeled as such.
Acceptable use
- No spam, scraping at scale, or automated connection requests.
- No harassment, impersonation, or posting others' private information.
- No attempts to bypass visibility controls or access data the product doesn't show you.
Payments & refunds
- Premium is billed monthly via Stripe at the price shown at checkout. Any free-trial period is charged only after the trial ends.
- Cancel anytime from Settings → Manage billing. Your plan stays active until the end of the period you've paid for, then downgrades automatically — no further charges.
- All payments are non-refundable, including partial billing periods after you cancel — except when something goes wrong that you couldn't reasonably have known about or caused: a billing error on our side, being charged after a confirmed cancellation, duplicate charges, or a service failure that made Premium unusable for a substantial part of the period. In those cases email billing@foundryard.dev within 30 days and we'll refund it.
- Nothing here limits refund rights you're entitled to under the law where you live.
Ending things
You can delete your account whenever you want from Settings → Danger zone. If you're on Premium, cancel the subscription first (Settings → Manage billing) so no further charges occur, then delete. Deletion is immediate and permanent — see the Privacy Policy for exactly what's removed. We can suspend accounts that break these terms — for the integrity rule and abuse, immediately; for everything else, we'll warn you first when practical.
The legal bits
Foundryard is provided “as is.” We work hard on reliability (see Status) but don't warrant uninterrupted service, and revenue figures are sourced from Stripe as-reported — we're not responsible for decisions made on them. Our liability is capped at what you've paid us in the last 12 months. We'll notify you of material changes to these terms before they take effect.
